The largest silver bar ever made
In November 2025 the Dubai Precious Metals Conference unveiled a 1,971 kg silver bar built to commemorate the founding of the UAE. Guinness World Records recognised it as the largest silver bar in the world. We made the metal.
What the record actually says about the floor
A bar of that size is not a display piece that was made somewhere else and finished in Dubai. Producing 1,971 kg of 999.9 fine silver, and striking it so the mark reads correctly across that surface, is a statement about capacity, melt, assay and casting at a scale most operations never attempt.
The same equipment and the same team that made the record bar make the 1 gram to 1 kilogram range we sell every day. The record is not a separate capability that exists somewhere else on the floor. It is the same floor, asked for more.
And then it was tokenised
On 7 September 2026 the bar became the first tokenised commodity asset launched under the DMCC-VARA tokenisation framework. Fractional digital interests in it went on sale through a regulated platform, with the physical bar held in institutional custody and its ownership registered on a DMCC register.
We want to be precise about our part in that, because the distinction matters to anyone reading it.
What we did
We manufactured the bar. The metal, the assay, the casting and the mark are ours, made at our refinery in Dubai.
That is the whole of our role in the tokenisation. We supplied the physical asset.
Everything regulated in that structure sat with parties licensed to do it, and it is worth being clear about who did what:
Why we are putting this on our own website
Because a world record held by a bar we manufactured, tokenised under a regulatory framework, custodied by an institution and registered on a trade body register, is not something a buyer should have to take on trust. It is checkable, and we would rather show it than describe our capability in adjectives.
We are a refinery. We do not issue tokens, we do not hold client assets, and we do not offer digital assets for sale. What the record demonstrates is capacity, precision and compliance at scale. If that matters to what you are buying, it is worth an email and a price on your own metal.
Want the range behind it
Our trade catalogue covers the full minted and cast range with weights, dimensions and finishing. Ask for it and we will send it over, along with today's price on your own weight.
